Chickpea Flour Rich with Protein & Fiber 500g

Chickpeas are rich in protein, fibre, iron, calcium and other minerals essential for bone health: zinc, copper and manganese. They are also rich in folic acid and amino acids. The chickpeas themselves have very little fat and in addition, they have a wonderful combination of protein and dietary fibre - two components that soak up a feeling of satiety over time.

Chickpea flour has twice the amount of protein as whole wheat flour and six times more protein than white flour. It is an excellent source of folic acid and contains seven times more than folic acid in whole wheat flour so it is highly recommended to eat chickpeas before and during pregnancy.

In recent years the demand for chickpea flour has increased especially among those who want to reduce or stop using eggs due to allergy or intolerance to eggs. And among people who have chosen to reduce/stop consuming animal products for health or ideological reasons.
